And So It Begins.....
Well everyone told me this day would come and I just wouldn't believe it. I mean why would someone put so much effort in leaving be so determined that this was the best thing to do even when I told him he would regret it and be sorry. Why would he ever want to come home if he was so happy to leave????? Well today I got my first "I'm so sorry T"
"Don't give up on me please" oh and my favorite "I can change and be the man that you guys deserve" I just don't know what to do with this. I got through the initial shock, spent countless hours crying, I mean my eyes are just now healing from raw skin and puffiness under my eyes. I got through packing up my house, moving us into a place I could afford, taking time off work to deal with everything, paid off the bills ect... Thought my life was moving towards a certain direction now a direction without him and now he has thrown a big wrench in the road with "Don't give up on me"???????
I just don't get it.....

I think when the reality of divorce hits these people (child support, spousal support, dividing assets, etc.), they realize they don\'t just get to walk away free, that there is a huge financial as well as emotional price they will pay.
As for what you do, only you can answer that but I would advise a few things:
1) Do not let him move back in right away. That gives him an immediate reward without having to do any work.
2) Insist on marriage counseling. If he hesitates even ONCE or says \"I don\'t think we need that\", tell him to get lost.
3) Do not reconcile \"for the sake of the children.\" You have to live with this man long after the kids are grown and gone.
4) Find out the REAL REASON he wants to come back. Does he truly miss YOU or just the comfortable, familiar home you\'ve made for him. Cheaters often do the \"I miss you, I love you, I need you\" claim when their OW/OM has dumped them. Do a little investigating.
I hope you find some clarity.
Hugs!!!
