And Now for a Kick in the Head!
Another call from a teacher (Chemistry): no homework done, no labs done, no projects done. Despite that fact that he told me TO MY FACE that he did them. It's bad enough that he doesn't do the work, but this lying has GOT TO GO!
I'm so sick of this. I even looked at military enlistment requirements & although they let you enlist at 17, you have to at least have a GED. So much for that!
The weird thing is that he seems to be under the delusion that he's going to graduate anyway & I know that once he doesn't, he's going to blame everyone else for being "out to get him" (though that is not founded in reality).
Of course, his school performance is no longer MY problem. What is my problem is his lying to me & what to do about it. Ugh!

I suppose another issue is that my expectations are too high for what he\'s able/willing to give. I shouldn\'t expect him to try or to tell the truth. Or to care. I WANT him to do all these, but I can\'t expect it.
