And Life was beautiful
I crawled up out of my grave today. Pain, more pain, nausea, different pain, pain intensified, nausea, Pain, more pain.....Were you praying for me? Aha. I never understand how this happens. I hadn't showered in a week, eeeeek, due to pain everywhere, nausea and difficulty standing on my left leg for even 3 minutes. Oh, and showers are very exhausting to me, drain the 1 % of energy I have, I get out and feel I am going to pass out from the exhaustion and dizziness. Is this really my life, is this really me saying this? Wow. My how things have changed. I don't recognize myself anymore. There's this new old, tired, sick person in my place. Nausea usually starts late afternoon to early evening and here we go, get out the ginger ale and crackers, buttermilk too if there is any. Today's nausea started when I first got out of bed and have treated it the entire day until now, bedtime. I have been a zombie gripped by the pain monsters in an extra bad way for weeks and weeks. I recall one evening a few days back that there was less pain. It always returns, pain is my default status. I couldn't stand myself today due to needing a shower bad but the bad nausea from morning on top 100 tons of pain all over, couldn't do it. I napped. I awoke and thought for a moment, nausea gone! Yippee! Pain gone? 60% pain relief! What? Peripheral edema wayyyy down. OK, shower time. One more thing, mentally alert!! Oh yes, yes, yes, yes, I crawled up out of my grave today. I strolled around in awe and Life was beautiful for 6 whole hours. :) Sherry
