AND ANOTHER MIRACLE!!!
I am SO GRATEFUL for the kick in the butt God gave me last weekend with the freezing cold weather! Because a door opened up today and I ALMOST MISSED IT.....
My friend, the one who got me going back to church, walks with me every Monday night. She had called me Sunday afternoon to remind me of different church hours this next weekend, just as I was getting started on that business plan, and I was so excited to get started that we talked a while about it....
So last night, as we were doing our usual walk around town, she asked me about it.... and asked me if I decided on a building yet. I told her there were 3 that would work. The one I liked the most was the most expensive, out at the edge of town, just off the interstate, and basically too far out of the way to be convenient. And as I worked on my planning, I realized there was no way I could afford it....
The second building used to be a small bus depot. It has 3 garage bays with studs already up to be easily converted into activity rooms. But it's old, the siding is depressing and it would take a lot of work to get it ready. Not to mention outside dog space was the size of my house's basement, completely cement, and right next to a residential area... like 25 feet next to it.... with no shading...
The third building. Location: Excellent - only a block away from building #2, storage units on one side, a gas station on the other, a car wash in front. It used to be a vet clinic! There are currently two office type businesses in there....
So as I was telling my friend about them, she stopped me as I was talking about #3 and said the tenants were moving.... AND THEN (I LOVE THOSE WORDS!) SHE SAID... DR. E. was looking to sell! OMG! DR. E is THE VET!
AND THEN... I went to work today, just up the street from the building - like across & two buildings over... and as I was locking up to go home, I looked over there, thought about what it looks like inside, and decide to go take a closer look....
AND THEN, lol... As I pulled out my camera that I carry everywhere with me, I walked around the building and discovered... THE KENNELS ARE STILL THERE, STILL INTACT! Which means that IF this all works out, all I need to do for construction is buy a fence!
SO.... I'm back at that business plan again, rushing to get it done.... I want to call my attorney next week and get everything started... call the vet and ask him about renting, buying, contracting services for vet care, 1st aid training.....

I have a good friend who I walk with every night-even when it\'s cold she makes me go :) She keeps me on track, thinks straight for me when I can\'t, and helps me focus on my faith when I falter.
