an update on my journey of estrangement......

Hi there, once again I am very thankful for this website. I read alot more than I write. I think its because I get so much satisfaction and support knowing that others are going thru the same painful experience and living a decent life! I was very torn and broken emotionally a couple of months ago, I could not believe that it has been about 8 months I have not talked to or seen my daughter and granddaughters. I made the decision to see a therapist and process this whole ordeal....I got wonderful feedback and validation of my feelings. I decided to look for a job outside (but not to far) from the city where I am, so as to create something new for myself. That is almost coming together. Im excited for a new beginning.
Certain holidays give me that pang in my heart, but really Im ready for something new and have been feeling stronger about my situation.
