An unexpected joy!
We went to Manchester today, for Monday treatment as usual, and were given D's STABLE again result a full week earlier than normal! What happiness for the beginning of the week! His pelvic tumour has even shrunk, though they don't count that on the trial, as he's already had radiation to it, so not admissable for trial statistics. We don't care too much about that! We're so thankful. Always that feeling of having narrowly avoided disaster, somehow - a feeling that I can let go that breath I've been holding. I think we've been worried about the sudden increase in pain, that it was due to some new nasty, but not so. D's GP has re-jigged his painkillers a bit, and he's seeing the physio tomorrow, so hopefully that's going to be positive too.
Many many thanks to all of you for your prayers. They MUST be working. I can feel them across the miles.....
