An Ode to Food...

An Ode to Food

Food
While pregnant takes on a delightful new role
Food that normally hurts my Crohn's belly I find
Full of new dementions, exciting tastes and flavors!
Generally food can bring me to my kness, hurt my tummy and my pride...
long days of painful undulations within my belly, the crohn's life

But Now that I am again newly pregnant food it so intense,
no longer excrushating but delicously satisfying!
A nibble of this, a bit of that...helps the baby grow!
That's the best part!  Not only does food not hurt,
but food is needed by my little one, so food baby will get!
Grow little baby grow!!

Something Tart, cranberries, a lemon perhaps?
Fried ocra with mashed potatoes...
LOTS of fruit; strawberries, bannanas, plums,
peaches, blueberries, blackberries, rasberries...
So delicous!

Orange Juice, yogert, fruit rollups
(take my advice DO NOT try and make them at home!)
But nothing compares, nothing is even half as good...
as my husband's homemade, delightful, melts in your mouth...
EGGPLANT PARM!

Maybe baby and I will ask for some...tonight!

yea I dont generally talk about the Crohn\'s. It sucks so bad! and well, we can talk about just about anything, including erectal disorders, but talking about tummy issues and constant potting, isnt really acceptable.
Still waiting on a response from Joel to my ode for eggplant....

You\'re so cute love :) You may have to wait a few nights for the eggplant because of my homework, but I promise I\'ll make it for you this week!
