Just an extension from the previous entry: Caseworker went to the school to explain to T that he will have to go for an assessment after all. T was not happy and then refused a drug screen saying he didn't have to go. He also kept interupting the meeting between the assistant principal and T's caseworker. T said they made him wait outside the asst. principal's office for 25 minutes before T was called. He said he was upset because he was missing more chemistry - another lab. Why they didn't call him when they were ready - who knows. Caseworker wondered if T was covering up something for not agreeing to do the drug screen. i told him that might be a possibility but more likely it was about the fact that he was angry for having to wait and about the assessment news. It was his way of saying - screw you. That is the way T operates. Not quite sure why the two of them talked so long but I do know that talked about T possibily being involved in some racial slurs of some kind. I was supposed to hear from the asst. principal today and the caseworker said that if T was involved - I would hear from him. I didn't so I will assume he is not a part of it. If he had been involved - THAT would have been terrible. T had always been accepting of all kinds of people and sensitive and protective of others. Teachers have commented to me how kind he was. Well.....no news is good news.

Keep me posted on how things are going. I worry about T and you. I know T is not A but I see a lot of the same behaviors. I know it is not easy but keep hanging in and do the best you can. (((HUGS)))
The drug screening refusal is an issue .... and why is it as of late that he cares about chemistry. . . I will check in. In the meantime, I am thinking of you and wishing this was an easier path for all!!!!
