An eventful day

To try and bring myself out of the Christmas blues, I put forth a great deal of effort into the gifts this year. One of my husband's co-workers and friend has been extremely kind to us . We bought him a neat A&W root beer set, and I baked him some of my late Mother's famous six layer cookies. We had to drive quite a ways to give it to him, but it was worth the smile on his face.

On the way back home my husband and I barely, I mean barely being hit head on by a pickup truck. Thank God my husband is such a good driver.
