Very nice article and made a lot of sense!!!! I wish we had better medical coverage at a more reasonable price...........I hope our new president elect will have that on his heart to change. We have our first black-american nominee for the presidential election........and a woman who ran for the first time........she will probably drop out of the race on Friday. Interesting how this government works.............and you are right...........best to talk to the right representative. Hugs!!!!

hope you are feeling better, enjoyed your article, have relatives up there so know how you feel about B.C. medical ins. i just pray who ever gets elected here doesnt try to mimic Canadas medical, or we will be in for a really big disaster!!! they keep talking about socailized medicine down here and they know not what they speak of!!!!! of course i say that as one canadaian to another, lol. love sylvia

I think our medical system works pretty well. Like I said there is always room for improvement. I don\'t think I would switch our system for any in the US or many of the other Western Countries. There\'ll be bureaucratic issues regardless of the system including bureaucratic blunders... especially bureaucratic blunders.
I do know that I really don\'t have to worry about friends living here not being covered and not being able to get health coverage or not being able to get treatment like cancer treatment for financial reason except for treatments that aren\'t recognized bye the Canadian Medical establishment - and I am not referring to the politicians there. They just don\'t necessarily cover experimental treatments in other countries.
There\'s always room for improvement.
