Amazing Metaphor
Build a maze. Put a piece of cheese inside. Place a rat at the entrance of the maze. Eventually, the rat will find the cheese. Repeat with new piece of cheese, same rat. It won't be long before the rat figures out the fastest path to the cheese.
Now move the cheese. Lab experiments show the rat will first go the same way as before. Upon not finding the cheese, the rat will start to search the maze for the cheese and eventually find it. After several repetitions, the rat learns the new, fastest way to find the cheese.
But what if you keep moving the cheese each time? The rat might find the cheese, but would NEVER learn the most efficient route to get the cheese. Sooner or later, the rat might get tired of having to work so dadgum hard to get the cheese. The rat really loves the cheese. Wants the cheese, will eat the cheese even if it's different flavors. Heck, moldy cheese is better than no cheese!
