Amazed
I am amazed at what I have accomplished these last 6 months of school! I have received "A"s and "B"s for the most part. My math is the only thing I get a "C" in and one day I hope to see that improve also.
However, if it was not for the grace of God, I would not have done as well as I have. We should never lose sight of who is in control...........Thank you Lord Jesus for being there for me.

Faith, God is gracious to His children. Scripture tells us He is. We just forget to acknowledge His Grace. I am grateful to see you have honored Him with your sacrifice of praise.
I knew you were doing much better than you thought. See, I was on the outside, watching you when we worked together at CIL, I know you have the intelligence and integrity to do what you set your mind to do. You hammer on yourself terribly when you should be giving yourself a pat cause you have done and can continue do this.
Please, Faith, this summer, please take a look at yourself and know God is using you, there is no reason you should be negative about yourself in your thinking. He doesn\'t make mistakes and that is a very very good reason you should start to put yourself up and let no one hammer you, (even yourself) into the ground.
What I am trying to say, with out getting it done properly, so I need to start over is: Your low self esteem is the biggest hurtle you have to overcome. This summer, when ever you are in the bathroom, look in the mirror and tell yourself: \"I am a Child of The King and He loves me so no one can put me down unless I allow it. Today, I will not allow it. I will stand tall and mirror His Grace to everyone I come into contact with today, even the ones who do try to put me down, including my own self.\"
Sure, my friend, we are to be humble before God. I am not saying be proud or arrogant. I am saying He knows you and loves you so this should be reason for you to know, as He has accepted you, you ARE GOOD ENOUGH, so what others may TRY to say to put you down, they can\'t when He lifts you up.
Only you can allow another to cause you to self doubt your place in the Son/sun.

Thank you so much Tralina, you are a true friend and I like the fact that you use constructive critisism in helping me to better myself. I am slowly but surely improving on the negativity about myself. I really need to stop it so that the girls won\'t use it against me or become the same way.
So my goals this summer are to spend more time with the girls, get over the negativity about myself, and get MATH figured out so I don\'t freak out at test time because that is where I mess up the most with math. I had a \"B\" at time of finals so if I hadn\'t forgotten how to work some problems I would have at least a B. One thing my daughter says about me is that I don\'t give up easily.
