Am leaving the encephalitis support group
I was misdianosed for encephalitis in May of 2009 -- the problem was leukemia -- do not be concerned, they were able to correct the diagnosis within a couple of days once they did a spinal tap (which was really not that bad).
Anyway, you can find me on the Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) support group if you want to track me down.

Hi Dave, I breezed through (for 30 minutes, haha) some of your story. Unfortunately I must get my beauty rest and can\'t complete your story, but I intend to finish it because I think your story might just be what my partner needs. He has not sought out support from anyone other than me and his children and I am so very supportive but I am not going through it the same as him and I probably just don\'t get it the same. he is going back in tomorrow to talk with his doc to discuss perhaps changing his treatment plan. He has not recovered enough from his first consolidation chemo (five weeks ago) to begin round two and this has us worried. I think it would be good for him to speak to a survivor. I keep finding dead end stories (literally) that I don\'t want to share with him. Anyhow, I\'ll try to find time to finish your Journal. Thank you for taking the time to write it and share it.
