Am I being overcomed, or just giving in?

I just wrote this as a reply in the "the fibro puzzle" and I thought I would go ahead and paste it here too for my first journal entry.
When I was younger this "fog" as you call it came and went. There were times I could function normally and thought that the problem was gone only to face it again. It drove me CRAZY because I could not accomplish, do and be what I wanted to. Back then and over the years I became very unsure of my self and did not get involved in many activities and even withdrew from some just because of the embarrassment of it. Also maybe a little pride was involved in it all being a MAN who wants to stand on his on two feet like other MEN who can.
Now the fog is so bad that it is really becoming debilitating. I am being truthful here, I can’t tell whether it’s getting worse on it’s own or am I giving into it because I don’t want to fight it anymore. I think the truth is, it is actually both.
