Am I a Veteran?

  First of All to ALL VETERANS past and present....I HONOR YOU today...I THANK YOU today, I SUPPORT YOU today, and I want you to know I am praying for you..... Second, I have a question.   I love my country, I pledge allegiance to my country, and I was willing to die for my country....I proudly served in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged in June, 1994....However, I was never called on to go to war.   I know war is hard, and its not where most veterans aspire to be, but does that make me less of soldier?  As much as I support Veterans, and the US Military, I wonder....Am I a Veteran, even though I was fortunate enough never to see war?   I always struggle with that question on applications: Are you a Veteran? I don't know, I served in the Army, but I never went to war?  So what am I?  Any one know? .....
