1 the family member with the disease has all the power. Not out of cruelty but out of love. No one reminds the person they love of this devastating monster.
2. Things forgotten by the Alzheimer's family member can be important such as time, place and events.
3 Alzheimer's family members can cause great pain to another. But they must be forgiven because they no longer understand what they do.
I guess the most painful rule about being a member of the family with someone with Alzheimer's is that there are the rules at all . anymore
