Always something.....

Now it's my husband. On Sunday, when we were on our way to picking T-Man from his friend's house (about 2 1/2 hrs. from were we live to his dorm (about 1.5 miles away) my husband let out a sigh.  I asked him if he was ok and he said he felt dizzy.  So we switch places and I drive.  He's been feeling under the weather since then and today he has a doctor's appt.  He also is fatigued, experiencing numbness in his arm, slight headache, and ringing in the ears.  He managed to play tennis last night and is continuing going to work but doesn't feel well.  He's had some symptoms like this in the past but he says this is "different".  He's had all kinds of tests and has known his cholesterol is high so who knows what doctor will come up with.  I tried to tell him to go see another doctor because the one he's scheduled to see has diagnosed him with "stress disorder" and put him on anti-anxiety medication that only made him sicker. Here we go ....... more tests.
Speaking of tests ~ J had his MRI yesterday.  That is going to be another medical hurtle we will be faced with.  A few nights ago he came back from his trip of a week and had a big bandage on his forehead.  Claims he was running down the stairs too fast at the bus station, fell, and smashed his head into a sign.  Said he was "too tired" to go the ER (asked him if he was drinking and he said yes "but not much") so he went the next day because the gash was big and he think he got a concussion.  No sympathy he says from the medical staff.  Ignored the concussion issue and only put a band aid on his cut and said it was too late to stitch.  This kid is a walking.......  I don't know.  He's something......

Oh, my friend your right it does never end. I often wonder if I am just a magnet for something always happening? Please do make sure your husband does get that checked, I\'m so down on doctors sometimes I feel like they are playing a guessing game and it\'s so frustrating. But I will share something funny with you my husband had knew surgery in May he claims the doctor said he would be up and around in 2 weeks ( I think he just wanted to go golfing) needless to say 6 months later I said you really need to g for a second opinion. Now understand we live outside of new york city best doctors in the world he agreed. He goes back to the same surgeon who did he operation and ask should this be happening., I was stupefied, I said tell me you didn\'t go back to the same doctor for a second opinion??? That\'s loyalty for you!!! Good luck with everything and hang in there, I heard a saying and I live it, when your going through hell! Keep going!,xxoo

Doctor said he has anxiety. Classic symptoms but gave him an EKG and he\'s going for a stress test tomorrow just to be sure. Husband also has high blood pressure so he gave him meds for that and Xanax for his anxiety. He will onlly ave to take it when needed.
