Linda Gayle Moss passed away peacefully at her Apple Valley home on October 28th, 2010. She is now in Heaven with her beloved husband, her parents and grandparents. Linda was born in Hollywood, California on June 19th, 1944. She enjoyed her career as a bookkeeper for Lucky Markets and also for the family business. Linda loved traveling the world. She enjoyed playing games with her family and close friends...it didn't matter if it was dice or cards...she was in. She is survived by her older sister, Billie Marie, and her children, Chuck, Christie, Lucky, Teri and Kelly. She has a dozen grandchildren in all, Nick, Jason, Candie, Michael, Chris, Brock, Courtney, Shawn, Adam, Breanna, Gavin and McKenna. She is also survived by her cats, Storm and Trooper she said renewed her spirit.
Rolfe Leon Moss
Born in Salt Lake City, UT on Jun. 14, 1924
Departed on Nov. 11, 2009 and resided in Apple Valley, CA.
On June 14, 1924 Rolfe Leon Moss was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leon and Emma Irene (Williams) Moss. "Lee" played football with the L.A. Dons and then went into the Army Air Corp in WWII. He flew a P-51 Mustang and remained in the Reserves for many years after. In 1951 he was graduated from USC.
Lee passed away at home on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 2009, in Apple Valley, CA. Lee was always a patriot in life and in his heart. He leaves his wife, Linda, sons, Lucky, Chuck and Kelly, and daughters, Marilee, Melody, Marcia, Teri Lee, and Christie, and 12 grandchildren: Nick, Jason, Candy, Michael, Chris, Brock, Cortney, Shawn, Adam, Breanna, Gavin and McKenna, Lee was a member of the Masons, Shriners, Jester, "Q" Elks, and was an Associate Member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors' Association.
