Always going to be someone giving advice when they don't know the entire situation
A response to a post I made has me feeling horrible. The fact of the matter is that no one knows the entire story of anyone's life on here. What you read is only half the story.
I have been verbally attacked for many years by the only person in life that I ever trusted 100% and was ever 100% myself with and for that, my walls are up and I am completely on edge.
Maybe I took the response too personal. Maybe the person that responded is lacking the skills to communicate effectively without seeming to verbally attack others.
In either case, I felt like I was being told I was a bad person by a perfect stranger.
I failed my goal of not giving up. I have decided this is not the place for me any more. I came here for support and understanding but there will always be that person that thinks they are perfect and everyone else is slime in the bottom of the bucket.
I am not an uneducated moron in need of someone to guide me through this process. I have been dealing with Lupus, career loss, abuse and an alcoholic spouse for a very long time all by myself and I have come to the realization that alone is the best place to be because I don't have to worry about guarding my heart.
Another layer of bricks goes up on my already high wall.

Please don\'t give up on this site, once in awhile there a few that say mean things but most of us are struggling as you are and may not be able to write what we are trying to say. if it was me, please forgive me. Stay with us, this site helped me more then anything else, especially when I first joined. We need you, you need us. We understand your pain and want to share that, we want to help you as we have been helped. I hope things settle down for you and that you remain strong and focused.
Our walls are high too but with time we chip away at them with the goal of knocking them down completely, I am not there yet but getting there!
I hope you find your way with or with out us, just know that we do care about you. Hugs
