Alpha-1

I was without the alpha-1 antitrypsin for 3 weeks. That gave my bruised hands time to heal. My wonderful husband was doing the IV infusions. I'm not sure what changed, but it went from 4 or 5 tries to 10 or 12 sticks to get the IV needle in a vein. Then insurance messes. But finally we got more medicine and the nurse who taught Bob how to do the infusions came back and did my stick on Friday. Nice. I got my antitrypsin and no new bruises! Yay.
I feel better. It seems that the infusions really do help. I can breathe better and I have more energy. Those 3 weeks without alpha-1 antitrypsin I was kinda hurtin'. I think that's why I didn't write in my journal. When I don't feel good, I am just not happy. I want my journal to be mostly happy. And I am happy today.
Smiles to all my friends and cohorts on this site.

Dee, yourf my sweet happy person, and I love your journal entries,. Please keep them coming, I know Bob was doing his best, but sometimes after so many successful sticks it becomes difficult to find a vein that doesn\'t have some scar tissue around it,. and I am sure that was the are Bob kept hitting. He will learn, and I am so impressed that you all make it work.. Take care Bill
