Alone Again, Naturally
I honestly don't understand what horrible thing I did in a past life that would cause me to have to endure such pain in this one. How can it possibly be right that I have ALWAYS been there for my friends (before they walked out of my life for no apparant reason) any time of the NIGHT or DAY, no matter what the circumstance, and yet now I find myself with NOBODY. Nobody cares. Absolutely nobody.
Ha Ha! Who do I want to be able to view my journal entries? Well, since I don't have any friends there would be no point in checking that box. And since there's little chance of anyone else reading it, I'm wondering why I bother to write.

And yet, here I am....reading, commenting.....and while I\'m at I\'ll comment on the balls it takes to make a goal to \"not make goals\" and then finish it in a day! This has to be a new DS record!!
And I care....
My \"goal\", yeah, well..... You\'ll have to excuse me, I\'m new to this site and there are some days, like the day I did my profile, that I am more sarcastic than others. After I put down the goal of to \"not make goals\" I got to thinking about it and realized that in reality, that is one of the ONLY goals I\'ve ever made that I\'ve been on target to reach and wanted to indicate that. I also realized that even though I meant it to be funny, it made me sound like a real bitch. I thought that I would get a chance to explain when I \"met\" the goal so I closed it out only to discover I didn\'t have the opportunity to explain it! I wanted to get delete it but couldn\'t figure out how. LOL! I thought it would disappear off my page and go into some obscure history folder or something. Now it taunts me every time I see it. But you\'re right, I should have left it \"unmet\" since it is more of a work in progress, albeit one of my more successful ones!
I actually made this goal about 10 years ago when at the ripe old age of 43, I found a diary I had kept when I was in 8th grade. Imagine my shock, when I looked at the somewhat extensive list of New Year\'s Resolutions that I had made at the age of 13 and realized that with the exception of a very few age-related items, that my current list was EXACTLY the same!! Sobering to say the least. I decided not to make any more resolutions given the fact that in 30 years I had yet to accomplish a single one from that list!!
