Almost too much to say...
It's been a while; I've been pretty busy; so where to start?
3rd Q report cards have come out. DD got a 3.84 GPA (very good). DS got 2 incompletes, both in classes he needs to graduate. (Actually, he needs all of them to graduate at this point.) I could go on & on, but I won't. I'm tired of it. Not sure if he'll graduate or not. I'm hoping, but I don't know...
DH is in a clingy phase again. Can't stand it, partly because I know he was triggered by when we watched a favorite show of ours & they were showing short clips of some of the love scenes; nothing too steamy, but still, a trigger. Now he's a Klingon. I dislike these artificial feelings. It's not like I did something special to make him happy or anything. Bleah. So I pull back, because I know if I react, he'll make a mountain out of a molehill.
DD's flakey friend is just starting to rub off on her a bit. She's starting to want to back out of her commitments (which is what her friend is famous for). Gotta nip that in the bud!
Church had tentatively planned a memorial service for our former pastor this weekend, but then backed out because they want to coordinate with the sons 1st. Which is fine. But they want to reschedule for 5/18 & I was hoping to go to my genealogy meeting in the next state & tie it in with an over-nighter to do some additional research. Of course, I'll go to the service. But I'm still disappointed.
Work is feast or famine lately. Today it's famine! Which is hard, because it's been sunny & nice outside this week.
Speaking of outside, I decided to plant my flower garden tomorrow. The front gardens are all weeded & trimmed; they just need some soil-loosening & some topsoil put on & then the flowers to be put in!
Other news: DS turned 18 on Wednesday. Says he doesn't feel like an adult. I made him a cake, DH gave him a gift card, we'll be going to the movies tonight & seeing a play tomorrow. So it's quite the celebration weekend.
