Almost overjoyed!

Well, we are now 2 down and still counting.  Our 2 grandsons have returned, safe & sound, from deployment.  One from his 3rd tour to Iraq and the other from Afghanistan.  Now all we have to do is await the return of our son.  His time "over there" is almost complete and we can't wait.  Told the kids we need to plan a family get-to-gether to celebrate how God has kept them all safe. Mom is finally adjusting to being in the nursing home.  It only took 11 months.  She still complains about not being in her own home and frequently accuses me of spending her money on myself.  But the truth is that she can no longer control everyone and everything and that really bothers her.  It is truly upseting to watch, but regaining a portion of my life with my husband is compensation for all that. The knitting & sewing projects are all ongoing for the expected birth of our 10th grandchild.  She will be born some time in March and we are expecting to travel to Arkansas to meet her some time in the Spring.  This is something that, as primary caregivers, we could not do for the last 2 grandchildren.  It is good to be able to look forward to this.  Love & blessings to all my friends at DS
