Almost in a Car Accident
Oh My Gosh!I am so glad that idiot lady did not hit me!It pisses me off that people drive so fast.All I was trying to do was turn into my own neighborhood.If she had been paying attention, she would have noticed sooner that I was stopped, waiting for a chance to turn left onto my street.Instead, she slammed on her brakes, squealing and swerving in my rearview mirror. If she had hit me and I had hit my head on the steering wheel or been bruised up by airbags...!Aaarrrrgh!I am on Coumadin! I cannot get in a car wreck.I do not want to bleed internally. I am scared that this is a risk I face everyday.I live in such driving city. My neighbor had an accident turning into our neighborhood just 6 weeks ago.At the same exact spot.He was rear-ended. Just like I almost was.His car was totaled. He walked away OK.Would I walk away OK, given that I am on Coumadin?

you need to take this incident and talk with your DH about getting a volvo or something. seriously if you are going to keep working you need to spend those dimes on what you need. one thing being the safest car you can get. this is going to bother you.
that\'s one thing i do love about living here, although it may be false security, everyone drives soooo much more calmly ... even more so than at my place before....
