Almost 3 years
It is 2016, This coming president's day will mark 3 years with out my Lou. I still miss him daily. I used random sex to ease the pain for awhile. Now I am dating. I have a guy that lives 20miles away. He is fun, but hes not Lou. My male friend DĀ from WA wants to move out here and live with me. He misses me. But he isn't Lou either. SHOULD I LET HIM? I am having a hard time of this. I want him to come here and live with me. It will be fun. But I still miss Lou. I miss Lou less when D is around. Do I want to loose Lou more by replacing him with D? This is friggin hard. Before I met Lou I was divorced from my 1st husband. Meeting Lou was the best thing in the world. I only got him for 7 years. I love D, just nowhere as much or as strongly as I did Lou. Is it wrong to enter into a relationship when I feel this way? ARGH life is hard.

My clouded opinion. Do not let him move in. This just happened to me. I moved 1000 miles to live with someone that I love with all my heart, only to be rejected the night I arrived. I think he was using me to fill a void and when I got here he got scared. I now unfortuneately rent a room from him. It is heart breaking to be around him and not with him.
If not for you do it for him. Dont put someone through that heart break. I have tears rolling down my cheeks just thinking about the heartache that he will endure.
Just my clouded opinion. In the end you have to do what is in your heart.

No one will be Lou. It\'s sad that Lou is gone, but I think you would want to come to terms with what happened. Grieving doesn\'t go away by itself and certainly can\'t be replaced. We have to work through the feelings and thoughts before we start building a new life. I\'m here to help. Sharon
Sandi, I broke up with the guy. I couldn\'t do it.... have him move in the way I am feeling.
