In John 11:25-26, Jesus tells Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 

In Luke 23:43, Jesus said to the repentant thief, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” 

Paul’s “Third Heaven” and Paradise Experience

In 2 Corinthians 12:2–4, the Apostle Paul describes a profound spiritual encounter:

“I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows—was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell”
