All went well!
My daughter, Melany's surgery went well! They removed all the growths and masses, and now she's on her way to a helthy life! I thank God for his devine mercy!!
My mom came to see Melany, and to "support" me. What a disaster!! As always, she critisized everything I said and did non-stop. The final straw was when I stopped at the dairy, where I work as a casual twice a week. I went into the shop to buy milk, and the owners of the shop enquired about Melany's surgery. We also discussed the temporary ending of my employment there, while I take care of Melany. Then my mom started honking the car's hooter! I signalled to her that we were busy talking, but she just kept on honking! (Melany's car that I'm driving at the moment). Her reason? She felt that I was talking too much, and it was time to go home!! THAT IS THE FINAL STRAW!!! I have enough rudeness from the security people at the hospital, checking my car and my handbag everytime I go into the hospiatal grounds, and again when I leave!!!
At least they take good care of Melany, and for that I am extremely grateful!!

Thank God that Melany is on her way to healing! Everything my mom used to say really seemed rude and critical. It was especially during difficult times when we were both stressed. I feel for you! I can\'t imagine the security searches there; although we seem to be losing our freedoms one by one here. Please take care of yourself, Andelene. I hope you can rest easy for a bit, anyway!

I understand the frustration about the search of the car. You just want to see Melany. I am sure they search all cars. It happens in a lot of countries that I have visited. In Istanbul, the shopping malls scanned handbags, like at the airport and checked vehicles going in to the parkade. They had a mirror on a long handle to check underneath the car for bombs.
I am sorry your mother is giving you grief. Please don\'t let her get you down.

Grateful that Melany\'s surgery is over and that health and well-being will be hers. You all waited a very long time for this indeed.
Please take care of yourself and it feels as if your mom is a feisty one. You gave me a smile because \"hooter\" in the US has an entirely different meaning and I\'m glad the one you spoke of is in a car. LOL! :) Not making light of the situation, yet sometimes a little humor can go a long way.
Huge sighs of relief and grateful for the good news as I was certainly hoping we would hear.
