The dog meat trade is a travesty, and it upsets me to a sickened degree, but its hypocritical to condemn a culture for a mentality we perpetuate in our own country. Killing any living thing is a travesty. Our factory farming of animals is just as evil as their's. ALLLLL OF IT IS WRONG.

i'm headed to the marina. got very little done today. shocked by how little i have been on here. being in pain sucks. i'm forgetting things, like paying bills. wth? i was supposed to head to the marina HOURS ago. would love to know what i was doing with all my time.
discovered another death and another birth on here. facebook is good for that. but not a person i know well. i was shocked when i saw it. it was a man who was up on charges in the 70's who was a teacher in the northeast. i always assumed ultimately they had him, as the laws improved through the years. lots of witnesses and all that. NOPE. he's dead now, but its like with other "trusted" people, how many victims because it wasn't handled sooner. lots of little things with that, which at a reunion my cabin friends would have a field day (and probably will). small town and large city, generally doesn't work. it can, but its unlikely. small town and cosmopolitan people totally doesn't work. lol. its like two different languages. always a surprise. whatever.
interviewed another guy who i need to hire at least as a floater. looks like out of necessity i need to cross train back to c-reporting, but for OLD movies this time, or go for another certificate in property management. everyone else in mortgages has already switched over that i know. you can only go so long with very little money and that is what this has been like. i still don't see an improvement, though tv says there is. really where?
was on the phone with the kids for the holiday. all the gossip. can't even keep track. i've turned into one of those. it takes real effort to know who is who and what - and TREMENDOUS effort to know the dates of a birthday or a birth. just can't do it. more than twenty of anything throws me off. was never really a priority for me anyway and there is too many. it starts feeling like a merry go round and then you start blocking things out because its too much. nothing against anyone. then the jerks who try to force themselves into your life. that totalllly amazes me. wth? watched my father have to deal with that with all sorts including very distant cousins his entire adult life. what you do is turn your schedule around and it cuts it down right away. asleep during the morning, at work afternoon and evening. good luck finding me. lol. his was worse. i like it that way anyway. no alarm clock. ever.
so headed down there. had perfect weather all weekend.

the bit with this guy is he said they met on a study abroad. a lot of us do those. they went to french quebec for like one day, he SAID they went to paris and she was studying at the sorbonne. (its actually common to study at the sorbonne which is the top school of the world) if you are in a university, so everyone just figured, oh, cool. good choice for a teacher. nope all crap. i\'m looking at her thing, and she was out of highschool (not college) ONE year at the time they got engaged and then married. why lie? it always comes out anyway.
we had another teacher like that who was also a stalker (a woman) around 9th grade, she said she lived in paris, france for two years. our ballet teacher was from the paris ballet so we figured. oh. great. wouldn\'t have guessed with her but cool. turns out she was in paris for two weeks with her college. two weeks, not two years. she was another one caught stalking kids at the restaurant where i worked back then. like trying to date 15 year old boys. by today\'s laws, she would be in jail. any by today\'s laws the other teacher should be in prison permanently for multiple counts of child rape. what else did they do back then that they got away with. life goes on and you assume its handled and its not.
he said she was going for her masters at the time and she had just finished high school (also possible, if she is really smart) so everyone is like, cool that is great. except also alllll bull shit. why do that?
DS just lost my comment. i said he would have been the chaperone for her high school class. this is totally gross. because he was finishing up his B.A. in teaching at the time they met. always the same pattern. that is totally gross. then his younger son is saying, he was anything but normal growing up. it never stops.
