All Kinds Of Stuff
Had a kind of strange yet interesting appt with my diabetes dr. He's really baffled by me right now I think. This appt my thyroid was down yet last time it was a bit high. My blood sugars had too many lows yet I had to tell him that diet wise with my gall bladder acting up I'm not able to eat half the proper foods I enjoy so these results are not really the real me, does this make any sense.
I can tell my system is getting somewhat rundown, you know how you can look in the mirror & just see that OK girl you're truly not at the top of your game right now.
I remember finding out at some point in time that your whole immune system depends heavily on your digestive system so thinking on this I guess the whole picture can make sense.
My diabetes dr did tell me to reduce my insulin dosages for now so that shd help level that problem off a bit.
I've seen the surgeon. My diabetes dr had given me a heads up as to what type of person he was so that enabled me to know how to proceed fr my side of things. He's a super duper thorough dr & I feel very confident with him. He did say that surgery is the only option for me. They will try scopic surgery thru the naval but there is the odd case where they have to do things the old fashioned way. It normally is day surgery but considering my autoimmune thing he said I'd probably kept at least over night. I've signed the papers & now just have to wait for the date. It said it could up to 6 wks however he's going to do his best to get me in as quickly as possible. He knows this is having a gigantic effect on the lupus. I feel in my heart that once I get this sorted out I can get the lupus safely in order again.
Oh yea, had an interesting appt with my reflexologist (who also has a degree in nutrition). I was giving her this update & she told me that there is a particular B vitamin that I shd start taking after the surgery to help balance & regulate the digestive & I think liver function. She also said that there is a digestive enzyme which would be hugely beneficical as it helps break down the food I'd eat before it gets to that part of the body hence helping overall digestion feel much smoother & more regulated. She said alot of time most dr's know of simple things like this but sort of brush it under the carpet & won't discuss it with you.
While I was at the surgeon I mentioned abt having had a CT scan done on the liver area but had yet not been able to get the results. I told him where it was done. This particular hospital is very to update with technology & he was able to source the records even though they had been done elsewhere. It was neat to be able to look at the scan on his computer right then & there. PRAISE OUR LORD, everything is OK. It appears there are 2 areas of some sort of blood cell clusters or something & he said I can stop being paranoid abt that now. Afterwards I did take a moment at home to thank the Lord for his aid in this & I even told him that I hope I can pay him back somehow.
The next hurdle is hubby's check up at the cancer clinic this Friday a.m. I struggle at times not to let fear take hold of me but there are moments where it can get tough. I pray the Lord will walk with us that morning. I do feel he's got more work he needs us to tend to for him. So I guess we go forward I hope bravely.
Hey Rusters - brought my camera to the shelter to take a pic of that kitten Robbie. He had been adopted. So although I have no pic it's for a very happy reason I do think.
So I think thats it for now my dear friends. I so always look forward to your thoughts & comments.

Honestly, ask me anything about the GB surgery. It\'s like it never happened now...healed, eating smarter too. Easy, peasy but good you\'ll stay in overnight as the first day-2 you feel sort and pulling and need TLC.
Praying for hubby\'s check up this Friday - sending positive energy, vibes, toes and fingers and all crossed.
I used to volunteer at our local humane society, was a Play Specialist for cats...When I\'d leave I\'d talk to them all and say \'now, I don\'t want to see you next week\'.... glad when they were adopted out....very happy reason.
When you\'re feeling blue, do what I do, go look at my pictures and all the positive images / messages there.
I\'m here, love you Kitty!!! You\'re a sweet, dear friend....but you already know that :) xo
Wow, you have a lot going on right now. I had my gallbladder out quite a few years ago, didn\'t have any problems, they did it laparoscopically and I was home the same day.
I hope all goes well with hubby\'s appointments, ill keep you in my thoughts.

Glad to hear your liver is OK! I\'m hoping all is well with the plans for surgery. and I hope that hubby got a good report this past week. You have so much going on, lady. I am hopeful for you that the surgery will help you on so many levels and your lupus will respond positively to it. You deserve a break so much, I pray that it happens soon for you. xoxo, m
