all is ok
HI to all of my DS friends. I read the journals and know that we are blessed. Why are we ok and others not, I truly have a burden for all of you. Steve is actually playing golf this morning. He and my son-in law are on the course now and the house is quiet. I am thinking of each of you and the way life is for you. We don't understand life and will not until we reach heaven. A friend once told me the why won't matter when we get to heaven and see our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Why do some survive and others don't? I am enterally grateful to have all of you as my friends. Unless God continues to give Steve a miracle I will be in the same situation as some of you are now. I will take one day at a time and thank God for it. We are told to not make plans for ourselves, that God know the day and the hour.
I surely hope that you guys don't think I come on too strong, this is what keeps me going, my faith. If you guys could see me I am known as a worrier, ( by the way I know that is a sin in itself) but as a funny person as well. I have always gone to church along with my family but when the cancer came along my faith increased many times over. I try to see the good in everyone, we are all different, but hey we are all children of God.
Steve is totally different from me . Not in our faith but in the way we accept things. He is the strong one is this family. Layed back, strong and determined. Never gives in to small stuff, figures out the why of things, a fighter, and willing to go after things that I would be nervous about. A straight talker, does not mind giving you his opinion on things (boy is that the truth, hehe). He is funny, we laugh a lot, and did I mention temper!!!! We are so different and yet so alike. I trust people and he has to form a opinon of you first!! he says I am so naive.
I didn't mean to "bend your ear " this morning. Only sweet Ingrid understands my slang from the south. We tend to murder the english language. I am sending my best to each of you today. Love, Wanda
