All clear on the pancreas, now for the rest

Good morning journal, the time is 7:02am,I have been awake several times during the night, once at 3:00am when our dogs needed to go out, then again at 4:35am for the same reason.I decided to remain up at that time, and came to the lounge after making coffee.I had time to gather my thoughts as always at this quiet time of the night, and I must admit to a huge feeling of relief that the results of my ultra sound on my pancreas were clear. No lumps or bumps, nothing abnormal at all in fact, which surprised the hell out of me,if truth be told,it just goes to show, you should never anticipate anything in life, things you are very pessimistic about might just turn out okay after all.The result on my pancreas begs the question though,if my pancreas isn't causing my blood sugar levels to spike, what is?;are John's suspicions about the effects of the seroquel correct?,is it the lack of exercise since I stopped working?,only more tests might reveal the answer.I do tire of the constant examinations I am being asked to undertake, the blood samples, the eye screening etc:,etc:;but I understand the necessity for them, and it is a small price to pay for peace of mind,so I will continue to undergo whatever they deem necessary until they find a reason and come up with some preventative measures to combat whatever is wrong.I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, perhaps he will be able to offer some explanation for it,I get very dizzy on standing up,sometimes with a feeling of extreme nausea,it is most unpleasant, not to mention a bit alarming,A lot of times,I have to stop and grab hold of the nearest solid object sometimes, just to keep from falling over, and I feel very faint,as if I'm on the point of passing out.My continued weight loss is also a concern,I know my appetite is sometimes virtually non existent, but then again, there are other days when it is very good,so I can find no logical reason for such a dramatic loss in weight.Perhaps my weight loss is partly to blame for my general feeling of weakness, who knows?,may be more tests will provide an answer, and hopefully a solution. My fatigue during the day continues to wear me down, even after a good night's rest,I still tire very badly around lunch time, and a lot of times,I have no option but to sleep, yet when early evening approaches,I am as tired as if I have been awake the whole day.It gives the impression that I can't be bothered with people, that I don't want to be around them, when the truth is,I am just so desperately tired that I cannot function normally, and, when sleep does hit,it is almost immediate and very deep.Perhaps in time, the professionals will find the cause of my lethargy, and seemingly permanent state of exhaustion,I hope so,because I am losing such a lot of time in my day simply because I struggle to stay awake.I have virtually no energy whatsoever for any pastimes or social activities,I simply sit in my chair until staying awake becomes too great an effort, then I go to bed for a few hours,I am missing so much of my life. The voices in my mind have been quieter, but at times, they make their presence very evident, especially when I am tired, and maintaining control of my thought processes can be very difficult. My memory gaps are still very much a part of my daily life, sometimes short, but at other times I have no idea how much of my day has been lost simply because I don't remember. Now I grow tired journal,it is time I rested, until the next time then, peace walk with us.

Scott, peace eludes all of use in some way, but I think you don\'t always give yourself enough credit/ Peace may elude you, but you find ways to cope, which is extremely important. When you stop coping then you will have some very real extra issues. Please hang in there my friend, Take care -- Bill
