All Clear
I had my second follow up PET scan a few weeks ago. Today I had a meeting with the the Oncologist, well the Great News is that the scan was All Clear. There is no sign of any new growth of the thymus and Thymoma.......This is really a great relief, especially as i am now 1 year post Thymectomy!
I will now be continuing my follow-up consults with the Neurologist, and will have an annual PET Scan to monitor the situation.
Generally the MG is stable, I still am taking around 180 to 240mg of Mestinon (60mg at a time) per day, but I have now got my Prednisone down to 5mg a day.
Well just need to share the good news
