All alone & quiet
Well here I am all alone. It is so quiet as the family next door are away & so the children are not out playing. Ed is at work & I took Christopher back to the city this morning. It was so quiet on the roads, we were in there in no time. We went to his unit first to drop off all his gear & it was so peacefull watching the trendy joggers doing their morning thing before work. Poor Christopher has an ear infection I think. He has had allergies while he has been home & now he has a discharge from his ear. He said he can't afford to go to the Doctor until he gets paid. I guess if it gets bad he can go to ED.
Work was quiet again. Most of the residents are home but a few are still away.It was cool yesterday & someone actually had a heater on.Did'nt help my sweaty head.Public holiday rates so that will help the bank balance.I am so broke at the moment.
When I got home there was a bag for me from a jewellry store. It was the most amazing watch. I told Christopher I would like a new fun blingy watch & this one is perfect. It is a large Guess one with a huge big sparkley wrist band. I love it!!!!!!!!
Christopher said he helped his Dad choose it. Ed does'nt usually buy presents so I have done well as he gave me a CD as well.
Good old Chris. He can always work on Ed! I have the washing machine going. It is a lovely day. a cool breeze & sunny, perfect for drying. I can't believe it is 1pm & I am still awake. I was up before 6am & on the road by 7am. I can feel myself wilting so will rest soon.I actually came home & did some vacuming etc. It is so easy to do too much when you feel ok.
I must make an appt with the dentist. More money. I have a tooth that has had root canal work done years ago where the gum keeps swelling. It was painful but not now. It just keeps coming & going.It looks a bit strange so I must do something about it. What with new glasses, I work to pay medical bills. The plug in my left eye has fallen out again. That is the third one. I don't know what the specialist will do now,probably just manage with drops. My right one is fine. Strange lady, that's me.
Time to have some lunch. I can feel my tummy rumbling.Then I think a lie down with my book is calling.
