All alone
Two weeks ago my friends who live in Sarasota FL wanted me to go and visit. They couldn't come over to see me because her husband is sick and she wanted me to get out of my apartment for a couple of days.
I live in Stuart FL which is across the state and I am afraid to drive over there alone so I took the bus. It took quite a while to get there and there were a couple of stops but all in all the trip was ok. I had to prove to myself that I could do it. They were happy to see me and it was good to be with old friends. But, it just wasn't the same. I just wanted my husband to be there. I wasn't there very long when I just wanted to get home but I stayed for 3 days and then went back. My husband Mike just would never believe that I would do that. I very rarely did anything alone but now I have to. My friend says she knows hoe I feel because her husband almost died. I said to her you don't know how I feel and thank GOD you don 't. Her husband is still here and she can see him and talk to him but I can't. I miss my husband Mike so much & I just don't know what to do. Thanks for listening.
