All Ahead At Warp Speed

Thursday, August 07, 2008 – 9:40 A.M. Now things have gone from bad to worse to horrible. Last night, another CNA (Renee) told me that she was quitting and moving out-of-state. That will be the third CNA I have lost in less than a month. Renee said that her moving had nothing to do with me, but was the result of family problems.   Amidst this upheaval in personnel changes, other things that need to be seen to are being neglected. My dirty laundry is piling up, and at this rate, I will not have any clean clothes to wear in a few days.   The food in my refrigerator is diminishing, and it looks as though I am the only one around here smart enough to see that. My personal care provider (PCP) is responsible for doing the grocery shopping. Since the new one does not start until Monday, it looks as though I will need to do some of the shopping myself during the weekend. I also need to get some medicine at the same time.   I realize that each of us has various changes within our lifetimes, but mine are seemingly coming at warp speed. Either things are going to have to slow down somewhat, or I will not be around much longer!   Quotes for Success: “They never fail who die in a great cause.”   George Gordon, Lord Byron

Jim hsng in there, in time all of these changes will occur and everything will seem normal again for you soon. People always try to tell me nothing stays the same forever and change is often a good thing. Meanwhile maybe your sister or one of your neighbors can do some grocery shopping for you maybe even some laundry, Many hugs and wishes to you Hugs-Stephanie

When all this change comes at once, it seem almost impossible to deal with.
Even though you are very stressed and upset, you are riding through it.
I am sorry to hear that there are undone chores in the midst of all these people coming and going. That is just another frustration to handle.
It has to calm down eventually.
Until then, just roll with the punches.
Tough ride.
