All Ahead At Warp Speed

Thursday, August 07, 2008 – 9:40 A.M. Now things have gone from bad to worse to horrible. Last night, another CNA (Renee) told me that she was quitting and moving out-of-state. That will be the third CNA I have lost in less than a month. Renee said that her moving had nothing to do with me, but was the result of family problems.   Amidst this upheaval in personnel changes, other things that need to be seen to are being neglected. My dirty laundry is piling up, and at this rate, I will not have any clean clothes to wear in a few days.   The food in my refrigerator is diminishing, and it looks as though I am the only one around here smart enough to see that. My personal care provider (PCP) is responsible for doing the grocery shopping. Since the new one does not start until Monday, it looks as though I will need to do some of the shopping myself during the weekend. I also need to get some medicine at the same time.   I realize that each of us has various changes within our lifetimes, but mine are seemingly coming at warp speed.
