Airbus’ innovative consultation tool helps optimise aircraft maintenance activities and overall cost
Airbus’ recently-launched airnavX tool, the company’s highly developed one-stop consultation tool for technical data which includes all major technical manuals based on the Airn@v platform will optimise the operation and maintenance activities of Airbus commercial jetliners globally.
The airnavX tool reduces the time consumed for research, information distribution and aircraft troubleshooting while optimising the workflow for mechanics and engineers and also reducing costs for Airbus aircraft operators.
It is available to airlines, MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) companies, aircraft lessors, suppliers, subcontractors and Airbus’ own personnel providing innovative ways for accessing significant maintenance and engineering data.
The features include “My Library,” a single access point for browsing and downloading Airbus technical manuals; “Troubleshooting,” which leverages fault codes and electronic centralised aircraft monitor (ECAM) warnings to identify the essential documentation and “Data Search,” a fast, keyword-based solution for scanning the full available maintenance technical data.
