Air Senegal’s first Airbus A330neo reaches Blaise-Diagne International Airport


Air Senegal, the flag carrier of the Republic of Senegal has received its first Airbus A330neo at Blaise-Diagne International Airport in Dakar.

The aircraft has been named as “Casamance” and it has been painted in the livery of Air Senegal. The A330neo was presented at a ceremony which was attended by Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, and Philippe Bohn, Chief Executive Officer Air Senegal.


Air Senegal will become the first African airline to receive and operate the newest member of the leading Airbus widebody family. The airline plans to operate its first A330neo on the soon to be opened Dakar-Paris route and develop its medium and long-haul network. Air Senegal will receive the aircraft in the coming weeks.


The aircraft is fitted with a three-class cabin which includes 32 Business class, 21 Premium Plus and 237 Economy class seats.
