Agitated III
Yesterday afternoon found me so exhausted that I nearly fell asleep on the drive home from my shopping expedition in the far west edge of the metroplex. Oops. . . I did it again. . . I called this place, "home." I believe I will leave the typo intact this time. Shortly after I unloaded Tiggy, I settled in for a nap. The restless nap lasted 12 hours or so with quite a few hyper-vigilant wake ups. I woke serene with cohesive execution of my morning meditations, but a significant measure of rage began bubbling up as I fed Persilly and watched the red tones of sunrise ply their first strokes to the horizon.
The apple tree flashbacks have fallen to the base of the tree this morning. The book fell from my hands while I napped and. . . Methinks I will find a place to channel that anger this morning. There is no shortage of weed trees in need of clearing.
The GK feather babies are already too big for Raptor's cage. Between unloading Tiggy and laying down for my nap, I carried their cage out to the proposed coop site. Not the first time, but I believe this was the first time they enjoyed the shock to their senses. Hubs brought the cage back in while I napped. There is still considerable chill in the air. Certainty unnecessary, but I think that once the heat wave due in this evening settles, the cage will stay out there as their makeshift roost while we await the arrival of the coop kit.

Hugs & love Arfie.
I woke up on the wrong side of my body this morning and every bone aches without reason which also has me irritable. Then again at sometime in the middle of the night I had a severe allergy attack and had to use my inhaler so it’s no wonder I woke up on the wrong side.
Hugs & support my friend. If it weren’t for distance and the fact I have DBT this morning, I’d love to come join you for some aggressive weeding. I’ve realized lately just how much I miss my ranches and equestrian farms.
Hugs & love.
This makes me miss chickens. I used to have so many. It was always very exciting watching them hatch then putting them in a box under the heat lamp, then eventually over to the cage, then outside to the coop. Some didn't make it and that was sad.
We aren't allowed to have chickens anymore. But hey it is dumping season, I'm sure someone will drop some little bedraggled unwanted thing at my driveway.
Have fun weeding! It's still cold here and nothing is growing.
You almost make me want to try raising chickens. Lol. Well almost. Triple hugs

Gentle hug sweetie..... I'm glad that you've gotten the rest that you needed but I'm sorry you've woken up feeling upset..... Go Weeds!!
What kind of a feather baby is it??… if you don't mind my nosiness …..xo
There are currently four feather babies, two black and white, two yellow and white. The tractor store which sold them to us called them, "Bantams." I was listening to GS's dreamy brown eyes far more than knowledge. I had to look up bantam while the GK's tickled and giggled. "bantam" appears to be poultry dialect for, "miniature." Do we really need a sub-word for everything?
There sure are allot of chicken breeds. Chicken breeding is, debatably, an even more ancient art than corn breeding. I suspect there are even more chicken breeds than dog breeds. I haven't enough clues to guess which breed(s) these bantams were miniaturized from. Observation in progress. . . For now they still have allot of chick down. We won't have enough clues for certainty until their feathers are in. Even then. . . Chickens are as respectful of their pedigrees as dogs. What's wrong with a Great Dane/chihuahua love affair? What's paperwork got to do with it?
We homo sapiens are kidding ourselves when we celebrate our diversity. . . We like to think we are top of the food chain, too.
