Agitated

I love blaming things on the weather. It lets me pass judgement and defer responsibility without hurting anybody's feelings. When I imagine the weather as an entity I can talk to, I imagine it shrugging off the blame with, "Just doing my job, Ma'am. Feel free to talk to my supervisor."

The idle promises of rain from the heavy southbound clouds are getting credit for my irritable mood swings this morning. Somebody's getting rain out of those clouds. Somebody else, not me. Nothing in my life feels good enough as is and I want whatever it is I don't have. Grumble grumble gripe gripe fucked up world!!!! Get smart and do it my way. How the hell should I know what my way is? It's your job to know that!!! Do I have to do everything?

Feeling like its time to start that 11 hour northeast drive. Again I find myself feeling a loss that my most beloved vacation spot is sitting like a chore on the To-Do List. Am I going there for the rivers, as I have done whenever possible for as long as I can remember. or am I going there for the newly acquired house with a leaky window and a Breach of Contract mess still scattered around where my lab/rooftop garden are *supposed* to be?

The agitated state of this morning feels quite manageable. For now, I'm waiting on the tire for the new toy and channeling the agitation into pre-departure housework. Venting. . . Sorting. . .

I do like that the cosmos, weather included can take all the blame everyone can give it and still smile as it throws all the thunder bolts around that we have had this week. It has been so long since I have heard this much rumbling from above that I almost enjoyed it.

Not a house with issues... just a base camp with four walls and a place of possibility. I would love to say I have that P word to visit you this summer. take K on that possibility of a fish dinner for three butttt I leave that P to that cosmos that throws what ever it wants at who ever it see fit to.
See you in the clouds of banked time
