Against Doctor's recommendation

So, after hearing from several people on this group, and reviewing my lab work that I recently received from the past few months, and listening to how my body felt for the 5 days that I did it, I decided to NOT triple my dose of ATD that my Endo directed me to do, and went back to the 200mg or so, split over 3 doses a day.
Last week I felt as if I gained a whole bunch of fat, specifically in my mid-section, and I experienced some moments of deep depression after the increased dose. I didn't have much energy, and perhaps it was because my week had been disrupted with company staying at our home for a few days, along with my boyfriend, Jason, leaving town to see his grandfather, who had a massive heart attack, or maybe all of that, plus the increased dose caused me to feel so low... I think the combo, but especially the increase, is why I felt that way. After reducing my dose as of Monday, my GOOD energy spiked and I felt compelled to go to the gym after work yesterday.... and not just go to the gym, I felt like I COULD RUN!!! So I did... and 2 minutes in I felt fairly certain that I would die..... but I kept pushing. My mental picture of how I BELIEVE I looked while running, and the picture of how I imagined this run before I started, were WORLDS apart. It was pathetic, by my previous fitness standards. It was an excruciating struggle, and I changed my goal of running for 20 minutes, to "let's just make a mile"... and I really had to push myself the whole way through that mile. I did it in a painful 12:16, which is far less than I have been able to do in the past.
I did a half hour-ish of strength training this morning, and strangely, I still feel like I could do some more activity after work and plan to go a half hour on the stationary bike at the gym.... little by little, it's getting better and better!!! Yay me!
