after the angioplasty
The procedure went well, the placed 3 more stents around my heart.....that makes 8 altogether now. Everything should be flowing well. I go for follow up on feb 6th and I hope I find out more about how this affects my option for transplant. I am having an awful time of it anymore. I am on 9 lpm of oxygen....sometimes 15 if I am moving around too much. The company that provides my O2 are dragging their feet setting me up with liquid which would make travelling easier for my as the canisters weigh a lot less than the 2 E tanks I have to pull now.
I honestly don't think I'm going to make it to transplant.....I'm on blood thinners for the next 6 months and can't even be considered until I am off those; and then if I'm listed the waiting begins again. I'm tired and I think I would just like this to be over one way or another. Being held in limbo isn't a nice place to be. I've already set a DNR in placed if a transplant is not imminent. We will need to get toether as a family and go over all of this stuff so that the kids aren't blindsided by my decisions.
All I know .... I'm eating cheesecake tonight!!
