After Surgery
Surgery was Monday morn. I was feeling half on auto pilot. I was always thinking something might cancel my surgery. Then it was a breeze. I woke up, back was sore, and mouth was dry. Plenty of pain medicine. I guess I could write a book about the hospital stay. It was mostly good. I got out after 2 days, and thinking of how to spend my time, I decided to go to bed @ 6 pm, slept till 10, took my pain meds, slept til 1 am! Decided I have to start doing what i really need, so I drank about a cup of protein shake, pain meds, and again back to sleep till 5 am. I guess I really needed sleep, and starting liquids is the high priorities right now. I don't feel like there is any change in me, so I realized that I have to be the change. The surgery is just a tool to help me achieve those goals.
