Afghans

I am missing a photo of one I made for a crochet-along, but here are the ones I've done this year:

I made two of the heart granny square blankies for babies.
Working on a lovely earthy colored African flower blanket, now.  Nearly done with the pieces, just need to finish a few more and then sew it all together.  It's weird doing one a month, but sort of neat, too.  (And uh, sort of spendy.  Why can't yarn be free?? Maybe I should raise sheep... heheh.)
I actually have another cabled blanket in the works, too, but I lost interest in it because of the cheapness of the yarn.  It's not pleasant to work with.
I swear, I'm not an old lady, I just like having busy hands.
