affordable meds

I have really off the charts cholesteyears now..I cannot take any statins due to side effects..Now Dr. wants me to take Welchol a new medicine it is not a statin but supposedly reduces bad cholesterol...gave me samples.sooooooooooo now I get the price for it and it will cost over $400 ...guess im not taking this medicine....So now I know Dr. will be ticked off nobody gives a rats butt if I can afford this med...Maybe if I stop eating and sit by candle light ,,I can afford this med....Ya think.......Aaaaaaaaaaargh....Now I lay me down to sleep Ive had enough
