Affirmation for September 30, 2011: Trusting that You're Trustworthy
Depend upon yourself. Make your judgement trustworthy by trusting it. You can develop good judgement as you do the muscles of your body - by judicious, daily exercise. To be known as a man of sound judgement will be much in your favor. - Grantland Rice
Thought of the Day:
It's hard to event attempt to count the number of times in the day when we're asked to make our own decisions but can't for fear of the consequences. There are so many things that can go wrong that it is easy to turn a blind eye to the positive that could happen. We then look to our friends and family and wonder how do they do it? How can they just make these decisions without even thinking twice?
It's because they trusted themselves, once or twice before...
And they continue to make decisions on their own; researching the consequences and having confidence in their decisions and the strength to deal with the consequences. We can be like them, too, if we just find it in ourselves to hold onto that inner strength. Sure we'll make mistakes, but that's how we learn. But know this: for every mistake we make or bad experience we have, next time is guaranteed to be better; and one day, we will be the one making the quick fool proof decisions.
Be strong!
