Affirmation for September 14, 2012: Seeing Happiness Nearby
Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open. John Barrymore
Thought of the Day:
Happiness is often hard to come across when we're in that deep dark hole or we look at that big pile of reasons to be upset. We take ourselves down into a closed door hallway and feel we're trapped in a situation without any hope of happiness.
We all know there are those windows out there! They're small, sure, but if we focus hard on those uplifting thoughts and stories we've experienced, happiness is not too far away. There is a mountain of positive experiences in our lives. We just have to tap into that resource and stop giving ourselves reasons to feel down in the dumps!

Lol, I was wondering where that draft was coming from.
This is so true. I\'ve found that the best things in my life have come from the darkest places. You just have to find ways to use them to your advantage and turn a negative horrible experience into something good. Even if it\'s a tiny thing to help you cope in a day, it can grow to be something amazing! I came up with a whole business because of coping with being bedbound and isolated.
