Affirmation for September 14, 2009: George Bernard Shaw
The worst sin toward our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them: that's the essence of inhumanity. ~George Bernard Shaw Irish dramatist (1856 - 1950) A weighty thought to start the week but it got me thinking. It's easy to get caught up in busy work and stop paying attention to the people in our lives. I look forward to your thoughts on this too. Here's to a great week ahead! Wow Doug! This post is amazing. I was just trying to think of a way to roll up all of my feelings and put them into a sentence, but this post nailed it on the head!
Thank you!
This is so true! Thanks, Doug.
truest thing ive heard in awhile..
Yep-thi is a really great one-I think I am gonna add this to my quote book.
I am going to use this with the Drs. Not that it would make them care any more. It is just so irritating when they have the facade of caring but they really don\'t listen.
That is a great quote and oh so true!
Indifference is worse than not caring at all! Point taken about some dr.\'s & FM!
So grateful for the recent awareness to this disease & for DS....... Putting opposites together is really a challenge....there is no room for indifference!
suonds like all the Dr.s i\"ve seen.
Sounds like something written especially for my soon to be ex. Indifference is truly such an ugly cruelty. I think it\'s for the cowardly who are too weak or afraid to take a stand and be humane.
