Affirmation for October 29, 2010: Halloween Treats
Once in a young lifetime one should be allowed to have as much sweetness as one can possibly want and hold.- Judith OlneyThought of the day:It's Halloween weekend, and some of us are wondering how we can stop ourselves from all the candy and sweets that are floating around-- in the house, in the office, even in school. One big no-no is to restrict yourself altogether. If you don't allow yourself to have anything, and you really crave it, you're actually more at risk of binging than if you indulged just a little. We always advocate a support system, or a buddy system, to keep yourself accountable. Recruit a friend, and tell them that you only want to allow yourself a certain number of pieces of candy. Or allow yourself just one per day. They can help you stick to your goal, and ride out this year's Halloween.Have a spooky day!TeamDS

Halloween is the beginning of the \"POUNDS SEASON\" for me... I an addicted to candy at Halloween, always have been and now I am a type 2 diabetic, so I must be careful in my indulgence! For Thanksgiving and in celebrating the birthday of our Lord Jesus (Christmas) I bake pies and make special cookies... I love what I make so beginning January 1st my annual diet starts again! lol
I am going to enjoy this weekend.
Lat year, by this time I was 127 lb, after halloween, thanksgiving, christimas, valentines I had gained almost 12lb. And I go to the gym regularly, and don\'t have or eat junk during the week.... I am still trying to loose the wait from last years indulgence, so think about it before you all fall in this trap.
