Affirmation for November 25, 2013: Unclutter Your Life
Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is a nobler art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of nonessentials.- Lin Yutang
Thought of the day:
Some days seem filled with to-do lists. Always a place to go, always a person to see, always a call to make or a loose end to tie.
It may be a good idea to occasionally step back and take Lin Yutang's advice to heart: are you just adding blindly to your to-do list? It may be hard to leave things left undone, but if you are struggling to complete your tasks at the cost of your health or sanity, it's time to learn to let go of the unnecessary burdens in your life.
Try this exercise: Make a to-do list, and once you're done, either cross off what's unnecessary or think about who might be able to help you with as many of the tasks as you can. You'd be surprised at how many people might be willing to help you out.
Have a stress-free day!

Thank you.
I am learning a quote that makes so much sense in my condition.
\"Less is More\" I am finding out especially as far as just having THINGS clutter my apartment, I just decorate in a simple manner, where I don\'t have to clean as much. Its hard to deep clean, and I know that soon, I will need to hire someone to come in. Being on a fixed income on SSI right now every penny counts so trying to do it myself. Paying for it emensely this week.
Great advice today! Thanks.
